Verifie
Verifie is an eHealth app which seeks to encourage regular screening for Sexually Transmitted Infections STIs, links users with any sexual health issue to clinics and hospitals and create immediate awareness on good sexual health practices to all users.
With the Verifie App you get access to first-hand information on a broad range of sexual topics from unplanned pregnancy to Gonorrhea and HIV/AIDS issues in our sex talk articles on the home tab of the app..
Verifie allows you to interact directly in real-time with medical personnel on all issues related to sexual and reproductive health. Each topic or problem has a corresponding medical practitioner signed to with who you can confide in and chat with under the Panic Tab.
There are also Healthcare facilities which are part of the Verifie program and are listed under the Centers Tab where users can contact to go in for testing or counseling on all issues sexual health.

APP MAIN FEATURES

Home Tab
A user’s status card is displayed with the Rotabar and test details (there are no positives or negatives and only symbolic of the fact that you have been screened)
A Newsfeed feature which is constantly updated with interesting & informative articles and videos on Sexual Health.

Centers Tab
All Healthcare Facilities Verifie users can access are listed here
A click on the Consult button links you to a direct phone call to a Verifie personnel in the listed Healthcare facility.



Panic Tab
Users with any sexual health issue can immediately contact a medical personnel listed under a particular sexual health issue by engaging in direct messaging feature by a click of a button.
Doctor’s replies to your health enquiry can be accessed via the “Doctors Replies Button at the bottom of the “Panic” tab screen.

Friends Tab
Shows users those on his or her contact list who are using the app as well.
Users can request to see the status of other users upon the user’s approval.
Users can also invite a non-user to the app via a message with a download link to the app.


THE ROTABAR
Integrated within the app is the Rotabar, a smart and intuitive way of ensuring you stay verified all the time.
Embedded within the Rotabar is an algorithm which calibrates it to indicate your verified status and recommends when a recheck is required.
As recommended by Aids.org, one’s HIV status must be checked often.
This applies to other STIs as well.
To stay verified we suggest you check your status as often as possible with a maximum interval period of 1 year.
The Rotabar works with this recommendation in mind.

This is also an initiative which seeks to encourage good sexual health practices.
The sex world out there is full of unpleasant surprises thus the need to stay safe.
We do not want you catching anything which can affect your life permanently whether curable or not.
Mind you, some infections, curable as they may be, can still end up causing complications such as sterility in males and females as well as cancers of the prostate, ovary and cervix.
